While the bricks and history remain unchanged, we’re bringing new life into this extraordinary space—with a commitment to making it more open, more useful, and more inspiring for the people and organisations who call it home.
Honouring the Past, Shaping the Future
The Clay Factory stands on the site of the historic Cantrell Redlake China Clay Works, first established in 1910. The name is a nod to this remarkable past—but what happens here today is something very different.
Our focus is on space: flexible, characterful, and affordable rooms for:
